Happy New Year to our Online friends.  It is with great pleasure we present you The Coosa Journal for 2009.  We are not just another news and advertising web site, nor a blog; but a place you can come and browse for information and inspiration.  As you do, you will know that careful thought has been put into every article, every view, every item of interest.

Our hope and prayer is you will find values proclaimed here.  We live in a fast paced society with little or no regard for values.   Families are fragmented, lives are torn apart and hope is dashed; all these things are happening leading to confusion and hopelessness.  Values are being swallowed up in an endless sea of temporal pleasure.  The world says live for today; tomorrow you will die.  Others say get all you can while you can, because someone will get what you have in the end.

Here we want to help the family, proclaim freedom to the captives and give those who stand on sandy ground a strong foothold.  We want to proclaim help and hope to those who have given up on life, restoring value to their lives.   This comes through the Word of God.  So, be encouraged and stand strong.   This is your day!
